Mount Hood Meadows
Mount Hood Meadows is one of Oregon’s largest ski resorts and covers a terrain of 2,150 skiable acres, with 2,777 vertical feet. The resort boasts 85 trails that are accessed by 11 lifts – six of which are high-speed quads – taking riders anywhere in the resort from the slopes for beginners to experts only Heather Canyon Snowboarders can put their skills to the test on the 500-ft superpipe, or at the four terrain parks, ranging in difficulty from easy to advanced.
Timberline Lodge
Timberline Lodge has the longest lift-accessible skiing and snowboarding season in the nation, and is open 10 months of the year. Located near the top of Mount Hood, the resort covers 1,685 acres of skiable terrain, and has 4,540 feet of vertical terrain with 41 trails, five terrain parks, nine lifts and 2 passenger Snowcats. All levels of riders will enjoy riding at Timberline.
Timberline Summit Pass
Government Camp is also home to Timberline’s Summit Pass (formerly known as Summit Ski Area) – the only ski and snowboard resort on Mount Hood designed specifically for beginners. The Pass has one chairlift and a rope tow, serving the resort’s two skiing and snowboarding trails. Rental equipment and lessons for snowboarders of all levels are also available.
Mt. Hood Skibowl
Mt. Hood Skibowl, located in the village of “Govy”, offers riders the largest night skiing and snowboarding terrain in the country. The resort has more intermediate and advanced terrain than the other resorts on Mount Hood, designating 40 percent of the trails as black diamonds for experts. Riders can enjoy five chairlifts, and 65 trails, 34 of which are lit for night skiing.
Cooper Spur Ski Area
Located in the city of Mount Hood, Cooper Spur is one of the oldest ski areas in North America! The ski area offers 9 runs for skiing and snowboarding, 50 acres of beginner and intermediate level terrain, 400 feet of vertical, a double chairlift and a beginner rope tow.
